The Tech maintains several programs which provide individuals and groups assistance with admission costs.
Open Access Policy
Admission fees support the mission of The Tech and our educational programs and activities. Fees, however, should not be a barrier to participation or access to the educational exhibits in our galleries. If you cannot afford the full admission fee, please see the staff at the Ticketing counter in the center of our lobby at the start of your visit.
Public Library Pass Program
The Tech, in collaboration with the San Jose Public Library and Santa Clara County Library systems, has a pass program that offers significantly reduced prices for museum galleries admission. This does not include IMAX Theater admission. Go to the San Jose Public Library or Santa Clara County Library for more information and to pick up passes. Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
